February 8th - Cold Weather Advisory (Classes Running)
It's chilly but the sun is shining! With the appropriate precautions we can make the most of this beautiful crisp winter day. Coaches will be adjusting lesson plans to stay close to the cabin and class times may be shortened depending on windchill and our ability to stay warm. Parents, please make sure kids are dressed appropriately for cold weather. This means kids need to cover exposed skin (ski masks, buffs, balaclavas, scarves), proper mitts, and layers of clothing. You can even create boot covers using large wool socks by cutting the tips off to allow for the binding. Hand/foot warmers are also a great idea!
Although we do hope to see everyone on the trails this afternoon, please use your discretion as to whether you wish your child to participate in these cold temperatures. If we don't see you this week, we look forward to seeing you next week for our family fun day.
January 25th - Classes CancelledAs much as we love to ski and are looking forward to our second week of classes, the freezing rain warning affecting most of our region this morning into the afternoon presents unsafe conditions both on the trails and driving to/from. Due to this extreme weather, we have cancelled ski school for this week and look forward to seeing everyone back on the trails for Saturday, February 1st.
To make up for this 2nd lost week, we have altered our planned Ski School Schedule below to include classes on the Family Day Weekend (Saturday, February 15th). This class will be a fun day in which we will have a series of special activities planned and parents are encourage to participate! Stay tuned for more details.

2019-2020 Ski School Information
Registration: PAXC Club membership 2019-2020
Once your child is registered online, please download and print the Ski School Participation Agreement - and bring this with you to ski school on the first day.
Ski school is held on Saturdays and for the 2019/2020 season will run from January 11th through until March 7th (snow and weather permitting).
Ski school starts at 1pm sharp. Please make sure you have your kids there early enough so they're ready (skis on!) to start class on time. Classes will leave the clubhouse at 1pm sharp and return within 1-2 hrs depending on the level.
Parents (at least one) are required to be PAXC members, and are asked to volunteer to help with two sessions (ability to ski is not imperative) - volunteer sign-up will be available on the first day of ski school.
Please make sure that your child is prepared for the conditions. We recommend that they dress in layers and they have a spare set of mitts and socks on hand. Also, if your kids skis need to be waxed, please have them waxed prior to the lessons. PAXC doesn't rent kids gear.
